Hyrum Bond

Owner & Founder

As a leader in the renewable energy movement, the passion Hyrum Bond has for helping homeowners go solar is undeniable. His experience in alternative energy includes work with Tesla and SolarCity. Hyrum’s mission is to educate consumers on the power of clean energy, deliver solar power to as many people as possible and create a sustainable future for generations to come.

After many years on the West Coast, Hyrum set his sights on bringing the advantages of renewable energy to homeowners throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He is passionate about the environment, and helping people save money on their electric bill.

Hyrum and his wife, along with their five children, moved across the country to New England to create Rooftop Power and start the movement “The Renewable Generation”, along with co-founder Scott Brown.

Scott Brown

Owner & Founder

As the owner and co-founder of Rooftop Power, Scott brings a wealth of renewable energy expertise to homeowners throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. For years, Scott has helped customers reduce hefty electric bills and preserve the planet.

Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, a state with the third-highest energy demand per capita, Scott understands the importance of alternative energy. After earning his Bachelors of Science at Brigham Young University, he worked in a variety of leadership and management roles. In 2017, he co-founded Rooftop Power with Hyrum Bond.

Scott and his wife, along with their two daughters, reside in Warwick, Rhode Island. His personal mission is to improve the financial future for homeowners and preserve the environment for future generations.
